CANTON, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam golf team finished ninth over the two-day St. Lawrence Invitational. New York University captured the team title with a score of 599. The Bears posted a score of 718. Junior Dylan Estal (Dewitt, Iowa/South Jefferson) paced Potsdam with a score of 176 (90-86) and placed 39th.
Sophomore Jacob Juron (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) and freshman Jack Corcoran (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) were next with matching scores of 180 (93-87) (90-90). Junior Devin Caples (Wilton, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) and senior Andrew Scuncio (Essex, Conn./Pittsford-Mendon) rounded out the team with scores of 182 (92-90) and 186 (94-92), respectively.
Potsdam is back in action next Saturday and Sunday when the Bears compete in the Empire 8 Fall Championships at 9:30 a.m.
