Junior Aimee Caligiore recorded her third straight top-five finish with back-to-back rounds of 77 on the 5845 yard, par-72 Orchards Golf Club in the 36th annual Mount Holyoke College Invitational.
Caligiore was fifth in a 70-golfer field and her Saint team finished seventh in a 15-team field, five stroke in front of New York University and Merrimack College which tied for eighth. The Saints had a best-of-four opening round of 345 and improved to 337 in Sunday's second round for a 682 total.
Williams College won the team title by ten strokes over Middlebury with Amherst third, Wagner fourth, Vassar fifth and Ithaca sixth.
Julia DiGiovanni shot a second round 82 and had a two-day total of 168 to finish tied for 28th while Melissa Snizek shot 86-83 for a 169 total and was 34th. Kelly Hale shot rounds of 96 and 95 and was tied for 64th at 191 while Maddie Moore tied for 68th with a 195 total.
The Saints will play in the Martin-Wallace Invitational at Cortland Saturday and Sunday.
