Alita Rogers raced to a 29th place finish overall scoring 17 team points for the St. Lawrence University Women's Alpine Ski team Saturday as the Saints scored 48 points and captured ninth place in the team standings for Saturday's Slalom event at the Colby College Carnival on Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine.
The St. Lawrence men finished 10th as a team with Nick Stenicka leading the squad placing 34th and scoring 13 points.
Rogers had a first run time of 49.48 seconds and a combined time of 1:41.55 to place 29th. Eliza Cowie was 33rd with 16 team points and Sydney Henegan was close behind in 35th position and scored 15 team points for the Saints.
For the men, Dan Martin scored 12 points for the Saints with a 35th place finish and Hayes Graham took 39th place to score eight team points.
The Saints will be competing at the University of Vermont Carnival next weekend in Stowe, VT.
