State police make drug arrests in Potsdam, Canton, Oswegatchie and Ogdensburg

POTSDAM — A Malone man was cited for drug possession on River Road on Saturday, according to state police.

Alexander C. Kingsbury, 19, was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana at 4:31 p.m., police said.

He was released on an appearance ticket.

OSWEGATCHIE — An Ogdensburg man was charged with a drug possession on SH 37 on Sunday night, according to state police.

Randolph M. Outlaw, 24, was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:25 p.m., officers said.

He was cited and released.

OGDENSBURG — An Ogdensburg woman was charged with three counts of drug possession on New York Avenue on Saturday night, according to state police.

Penny L. Arquitt, 45, was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 8:56 p.m., troopers said.

She was cited and released.

CANTON — A Colton man was charged with drug possession on Boyden Road following a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon, according to state police.

Eric R. Burns, 25, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle without inspection and failure to notify the DMV of an address change, police said.

He was cited and released.
