Potsdam police make DWI arrest; charge motorist following property-damage accident
POTSDAM -- Potsdam police said they charged two motorists with driving infractions on Sunday. Those charged included:
• Robert J. Elbers, 26, Syracuse was cited for first-offense driving while intoxicated, speed in zone and no signal at 2:34 a.m. on Main Street, officers said. He had an alleged blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .14 percent, police said. He also failed a series of roadside sobriety tests, officers said.• Dawn M. Snyder, 54, Potsdam, was cited for following too closely at 9:20 p.m. following a property-damage accident shortly after 9 p.m.
Both subjects were cited and released.
