Potdam police issue tickets in accidents, noise complaints Friday

POTSDAM – Potsdam police issued three tickets following vehicle accidents during the day and two tickets for loud music at night Friday.

• After they investigated a two-vehicle accident shortly after 8 a.m. on Main Street, police issued Courtney J. Bliss, 21, Lakeville, Conn., a ticket for allegedly following another vehicle too closely

• Timothy W. Parmeter, 55, Lisbon, was issued a ticket for alleged unsafe backing following an investigation of a two-vehicle accident on Lawrence Avenue shortly after 10 a.m.

• Michael T. Owen, 68, Colton, was issued a ticket for alleged unsafe backing on Elm Street after police investigated a two-vehicle accident shortly before 4 p.m.

• Kirsten M. Bethel, 17, Raymondville, was issued a ticket at 11:23 p.m. charging her without inadequate headlights while driving along Elm Street.

• Two Potsdam people, Caylee P. Chin, 21, and Arielle R. Sermon, 20, were issued tickets at 11:29 p.m. for alleged unnecessary noise – music at a Leroy Street address.
