Ogdensburg man accused of drug possession in Morristown

MORRISTOWN — An Ogdensburg resident was charged with drug possession following a traffic stop on State Highway 37 on Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Connor D. Ward, 19, was charged tin two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Deputies were requested to the scene of a traffic stop made by U.S. Border Patrol agents and Ward was charged following an investigation.

Law enforcement found a small amount of cocaine, morphine pills and marijuana in the vehicle following a search, deputies said.

He was cited and released.
