MASSENA -- A Massena man is facing several counts after he allegedly knocked down a village sign with his car while intoxicated, according to village police.
Brock R. Barney, 26, of Cummings Street is charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, unreasonable speed and unsafe lane change at 4:02 a.m. Saturday at his residence, police said.
He allegedly knocked down a “no parking” sign near Boutot’s auto sales on East Orvis Street, according to police.
Barney was released with appearance tickets for Massena Village Court on April 19 at 1:30 p.m.
