POTSDAM – A Waddington woman was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital following a two-vehicle accident on State Route 345 Friday.
Bradley M. Waite, 29, of 1400 Old Market Road, Norwood was charged with driving on a suspended license and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility following the accident.
Anne C. Gerhard, 64, of Halfway House Road, was transported to the hospital following the incident.
Canton-based state police say the accident occurred on State Route 345 when Waite was attempting to turn into a driveway while Gerhard was driving over a hill.
Troopers say Gerhard tried to avoid Waite, but was unable to do so.
Waite allegedly signed off on receiving medical treatment at the scene and was held on $500 cash and $1,000 bond.
