POTSDAM – A driver who left the scene after nearly causing a head-on collision with a fire truck en route to an emergency has been charged by village police.
Stephen B. White, 25, Dickinson Center, was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle at 3:40 p.m. on Main Street.
He allegedly failed to move out of the way of a racing fire truck, nearly causing a head-on collision.
He will appear in village court on Nov. 2.
