Madrid, Hermon residents ticketed for pot

State police say they recently charged two people with possessing small quantities of marijuana.

An 18-year-old from Madrid was cited at 8:39 p.m. Friday on county Route 14 in his hometown and was released with an appearance ticket, police said. Troopers withheld his name.

David J. Macintosh, 54, of Hermon was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, no license and suspended registration at 10:43 p.m. Friday on state Route 58 in Edwards and released him with appearance tickets, troopers said.
