LISBON – A Lisbon man accused of abusing a four-year-old has been arrested and charged with third degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Gregory A. McLear, 33, 520 Five Mile Line Road, Lisbon, was charged after an allegation of child abuse was received by the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services, which assisted the county Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
McLear was arraigned in Town of Lisbon Court and released, to return Aug. 16.
An order of protection was issued by the court for the victim.
