LISBON – A Lisbon couple were jailed on meth charges May 30 at 6916 County Route 10, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Drug Task Force detectives.

Brian J. O’Marah, 31 and Nicole M. Steinburg, 31 were each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a hypodermic needle, officers said.

The investigation began Friday morning following a warrant of eviction process executed the sheriff’s civil division. A search warrant was then executed at the residence.

The pair were also charged with possession of stolen property after police say they found over 30 totes that had been reported stolen from Rite Aid Pharmacy in Ogdensburg.

Both were arraigned by the Fowler Town Justice and ordered held on $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond.

Sheriff’s detectives say the investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected. Detectives were reportedly assisted at the scene the members of the Ogdensburg Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the NY State Police Narcotics Unit along with the Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team.

These arrests make seven individuals in three separate cases that have been arrested for meth in St. Lawrence County in the past four days.
