HOPKINTON -- State police say they charged a Lawrence woman with resisting arrest, refusing a breath test and driving with a high blood alcohol level following a collision.
Valerie Hogan, 43, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, resisting arrest, refusal to take a breath test, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, failure to keep right and no inspection certificate at 6:54 p.m. Friday at 2896 State Route 11B, troopers said.
The legal threashold for aggravated DWI is a blood alcohol level of .18 percent or more. The threashold for DWI is a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or more.
Hogan was cited and released to a third party, police said.
