CANTON -- A report of gunshots early today brought state police to a Churchill Road address, where troopers say they arrested Scott M. Stewart, 48, of Pyrites and charged him with resisting arrest and other charges.
At 3:10 this morning, troopers received the report. They responded to 71 Churchill Rd., where their investigation led them to charge Stewart with two misdemeanors, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, and a violation, disorderly conduct-language/gestures.
Troopers say their investigation continues.
Stewart was issued tickets ordering his appearance in court at a later date.
