To the Editor:
I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to the individuals who came to my defense, concerning the unfortunate events that took place at the Norwood-Norfolk Christmas Pageant on Dec. 20. And a special thanks to the lady who broke my fall, after a person hip checked me into her lap. I was fortunate that she was sitting there or I probably would have hit the floor quite hard.
I was so pleased and amazed that numerous people reported her hitting me and the verbal harassment to the school authorities after the concert. Thank you all so much for coming to my defense. You certainly made my Christmas.
God bless you all for going out of your way. I really appreciate it.
