To the Editor:
I would like to take thank a few organizations who have supported our Memorial Day celebration in Potsdam over the years.
I want to thank Potsdam Police Chief Kevin Bates and the Potsdam Police Department for their continuous support during our annual parade.
Also, I want to thank all of the local fire departments, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and especially our high school band for their participation.
A special thanks to Blevins Auto Sales for donating the vans to us for transportation.
And as always, a huge thank you to all veterans who come out and support our Memorial Day celebration.
I ask that you all continue to support your local VFW and your community.
