To the Editor:

Kudos to “County Tax Too High” in the Aug. 8 – 14 paper. At least somebody agrees with me.

Bad enough St. Lawrence County workers get $3 million in payroll. Now, they probably want $4 million in payroll, which is stupid. I know for a fact if they get their way, somebody will get a fat raise.

As always, minimum wage is at a standstill. Why don’t we get together and give them $7.25 hourly, all of them, and the rest of us a $50,000 year or more raise? Watch them pay extra taxes with prices going up or when someone is short of monthly income or has too many household bills.

If it was us, we would get jail for tax evasion or we could have our property taken from us.

The reason the county is in debt is they pay for way too much stupid stuff they don’t need like for welfare people that leach on taxpayers or they spoil their kids. So they don’t play outside and instead they lay around all day and play their stupid computers or video game at $300 to $2,000 a toy.
