‘Souper Bowl Sunday’ nets $300 for food pantry

To the Editor:

The Norfolk-Raymondville Food Pantry would like to express its’ sincere appreciation to the First United Methodist Church of Norfolk for its’ support of our food pantry with their “Souper Bowl Sunday” Party which raised $300.

In addition to this generous monetary donation, 75 cans of soup were also collected.

We sincerely appreciate all that the members of this church community do to support the efforts of the Norfolk-Raymondville Food Pantry.

Many church members assist with unloading trucks of food from the Food Bank of Central NY and JCEO of Malone; putting away food and restocking shelves.

In addition to this, other church members assist with food distribution on the third Saturday of each month.

Without the support of the dedicated members of the First UMC of Norfolk, the Norfolk-Raymondville Food Pantry would not exist!
