To the Editor:
Many people volunteer their time and help others in many ways. Gavin Regan is one of those community-minded volunteers.
For over 20 years, he has coached youth hockey teams; given hockey clinics; and, as New York State’s representative to the USA National Hockey Board, he has run tournaments and used his people skills to help solve hockey association problems throughout the region.
In solving these disputes, he was called upon to demonstrate his patience, fairness, honesty, and tact. These are qualities that make for an effective legislator. I believe he will use these traits to represent the views of the people in District 11, state his positions clearly in legislative meetings, and work cooperatively with other legislators of both political parties to do what is right for St. Lawrence County.
Gavin Regan would be an excellent county legislator. Please join me in supporting him on November 2.
