To the Editor:
The Potsdam Lions Club would like to thank the community for its overwhelming generosity and support during our annual White Cane Sale Sept. 21, 22, 28 and 29.
This year we raised more than $1,300. This money will help fund various projects such as vision screening for young children, the Leader Dog program, Thanksgiving food baskets, free public skating at Pine Street Arena over the Christmas holidays, or other vision related projects.
The Potsdam Lions Club is seeking new members. We meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 5:30 p.m. at The Canoe Place, Route 56 in Hannawa Falls. For information, please contact Donna Ober at 244-1141. We are proud to have served the Potsdam community for 75 years and look forward to serving for many more years to come.
