As a town and village of Massena, NY taxpayer and citizen, and an, historically, (never looking forward to), somewhat patient at MMH, may I just offer this one question that has been haunting and looming on my own and my contemporaries' minds.
What the heck is going on with our hospital?
I respect my town supervisor. I respect the MMH Board.
I thought that the most recent proposal offered by the MMH Board Chair Ms. Fenton, seemed reasonable. It was, as I understand it, an effort to bring an unbiased, competitive, presentation by both Crouse and St. Lawrence Health Systems to the Policy Makers involved.
MMH needs assistance. I know this from not only the money loss, but from First-Hand treatment experience treatment at that hospital (Caveat by Stating that I love all of the actual nurses, staff members, and “most" doctors I've dealt with).
What am I missing in all of this?
