To the Editor:

Elise Stefanik is an ambitious young woman. She obviously sees her current position in Congress as a stepping stone, keeping her eye on some greater prize.

By remaining in Washington, ignoring constituents, supporting those whom she regards as influencers who can further her career, Stefanik does not represent us here in the North Country.

Let us help Elise move forward with her goals. Vote her out! She is a smart, well- connected woman. Please don’t worry about her future; she will be just fine.

Worry more about our future and the future of our country.

Tedra Cobb will be a much more understanding and effective representative for this district. Tedra’s goal is to work for us in Congress. She does not have her eye on any other position.

In selecting a Congressional representative, voters are hiring someone for a job.

Let’s choose someone who will focus on doing that job.
