To the Editor:
Thank you to Trey Smutz and all those involved with making this year’s Potsdam Summer Recreation program so enjoyable for my five-year old granddaughter.
So many local kids got to take part in what was offered. Many children would never have the chance to learn to swim without this program.
All of the staff were so friendly and caring. Healthy snacks and even sandwiches were supplied for those who needed.
The week-long library day camp was especially good along with the field trip to the Potsdam children’s museum.
Summer time without school can be a challenge to keep kids busy in healthy ways. Summer recreation fits the bill!
My only wish is that it lasted longer in the summer. Thanks also to Potsdam Lions Club for their contribution the program.
We will be there next summer!
