Now that all of the ballots have been counted and the results are official I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who played a part in my race to become the new St. Lawrence County legislator for District 11.

Thank you to all of the volunteers on my campaign, the people who were on the ground. Whether you were out knocking on doors with me or on the phones helping to make calls, this win would not have been possible without your hard work.

Thank you to the members of my community that helped me to spread the word. From placing a sign in your yard, sharing my posts on social media, or spreading the word about my campaign through word of mouth, your support kept me going everyday.

Thank you to my family, for your love, support, and patience. Nothing kept me moving like the excitement of my children. After all, their future is what motivated me to run for office.

I chose to remain in St. Lawrence County because of my love for this area and the people that reside here. I believe in our county, and I know that by coming together and working across the aisle we can succeed.

I look forward to 2019 and serving my community.
