Potsdam children and adults enjoyed a Rag-A-Muffin parade, which started in from of the Chamber of Commerce Building on Market Street, promptly at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, briefly going north on Market and going east on Elm Street two blocks before turning south on Park Street to the intersection of Main Street ending at the Potsdam Fire House.
The Potsdam Kiwanis Club for many years have been working in partnership with the volunteer firefighters of the Potsdam Fire Department to host the annual Rag-A-Muffin Parade with refreshments, bags of candy and of course the sought after rides on the fire trucks.
The Potsdam Kiwanis Club give recognitions to merchants Tim Horton’s, Dunkin Donuts, Price Chopper, apples from Fobare's Fruits and Walmart for their generous donations of delicious donuts and fresh cider and to the Potsdam Fire Fighters for their contribution of bags of candy and to the Potsdam Village Police Department for traffic control during the parade.
In addition, the Kiwanis Club extends a “Thank you!” to the community members who came to enjoy and support the annual Halloween event.
