To the Editor:
For year, people in Parishville have been concerned about a dilapidated property in the center of the hamlet. When the town board did not have enough funding to purchase the land, some local residents and organizations came through.
Pat and Sherry Remington, Milt and Jackie Degraw, and Connie and Evan Harper all donated funds to the town. The Parishville ATV Club, historical association, fire department. Sons of Amvets Squad 265, and Amvets Post 265 also contributed.
Thanks to these residents and organizations, the town was finally able to acquire the property. Perhaps soon some young families will notice this pretty little town, with a great school and people, on the edge of the Adirondacks and make Parishville their new home.
