Norwood library holds book and bake sale

Posted

The Friends of the Norwood Public Library would like to thank everyone who participated in their Holiday Book and Bake Sale on December 1.

A special thanks is extended to Carolynn Halford and her staff at the Ashley House Home Decor, Gifts & Antiques for donating the items, hosting the raffle, and selling tickets, and to Perry's Market for allowing us to sell tickets at the store.

The winner of the lottery tree raffle was Linda Coburn, from Wingdale.

We are fortunate to live in a town that has such a good library, and such supportive businesses.

We still have an abundance of non-fiction books, so we are extending the bag sale on them only, for the month of December -- $3 per bag. The Friendly Book Store is open anytime that the library is open.
