It was really good to see so many local friends and friends we don’t see often enough at the Norwood village’s “Autumn Festival,” ‘cause that’s what it’s all about!
Many thanks go to the vendors, both regular and the new ones who joined us for the first time. It was a great display of talent. Also to all the exhibitors for promoting so many local events and programs. The car show drew a lot of interest again by both participants and viewers. Thanks to the Norwood Kiwanis club for having refreshments available all day.
If you weren’t with us you missed some good entertainment by Lacy Stoddard Peets, Earl Gardner and friends, the Kountry Kitchen Cloggers and the Oshier Family Country. So mark the third Saturday in September on your calendar for next year.
Many hours of planning is done before that day but it all comes together with the help of my family. Special thanks to Frank, Patty, Roy, Tanya, Alexis and Brandi; also to Mayor McFadden and the Village of Norwood, truly a great place to live!
Louise Pierce, Festival chairman, Norwood
