To the Editor:
Members of the Norwood-Norfolk Central School Class of 63 Scholarship Fund held a 50/50 raffle during November and December. The winning ticket was drawn on Dec. 19 by Norwood Mayor Jim McFaddin with Gerry Grady and Phil Mackey present representing the class.
The winner was Ronald Harvey of Norwood.
The group would like to express their appreciation to Perry’s Big M, Hometown Café and other local businesses who allowed ticket sales from their locations.
Proceeds are used to fund an annual $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior at Norwood-Norfolk.
Individuals or businesses wishing to contribute may send their tax deductible donations to NNCS Class of 63 Scholarship Fund, c/o Carolyn Swafford, P.O. Box 495, Littlejohn Rd., South Colton, NY 13687-0495.
