To the Editor:
The Norwood-Norfolk Central School’s Angel Tree Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the many people, businesses and/or organizations who willingly gave so the less fortunate students in our community could have a happier Christmas.
Thanks especially to Buck Funeral Home, Community Bank (Norwood), American Legion John Adams Jr. Post 925 (Norfolk), American Legion Clark Robinson Post 68 (Norwood), Fortnightly Club, J.C. Merriman Inc., McGreevy Enterprise Inc., Mort Backus and Sons, NBT Bank (Norfolk), Potters Industries Inc., Sassone Law Office, Sugar Creek (Norwood), Walmart (Potsdam), Walmart (Massena), and the Norwood Kiwanis.
We would also like to thank the many organizations within our school who donated their money, time, and good spirit. And of course, we thank the many members of our faculty, staff, and community for choosing children to buy gifts for.
With all this support, we were able to provide 163 Norwood-Norfolk children and their families with gifts, good, and other household items to make the holiday season brighter.
