Massena town supervisor endorses Cobb in primary

To the Editor:

It’s not very often that expertise matches the drive, heart and passion of any political candidate. For those of us in the North Country, we are lucky to find that very combination in Tedra Cobb.

I first met Tedra last July when I announced my bid for Massena Town Supervisor. While her willingness to laugh at my jokes qualifies her for Congress in my book, she stands out as the most qualified candidate for much more than that. Tedra has owned businesses in the North Country, served as a two-term legislator in St. Lawrence County, and is working tirelessly to protect and develop public institutions that those of us in the NY21 district depend upon.

From the moment I met her, I recognized that Tedra is the candidate that will accomplish great things; she is the candidate who is capable of bringing this congressional seat back to the Democrats.Tedra collected the most signatures for her nominating petition and she did so with over 700 hundred volunteers. No other candidate can make that claim. Last, but certainly not least, Tedra is not only registered to vote, she continuously exercises that right.

Tedra Cobb has my vote because of her legislative experience and unflagging dedication to the North Country. I hope you will join me in voting for Tedra on June 26 in the democratic primary.
