Looking for info on Madrid church windows

To the Editor:

In researching the Methodist Church in Madrid, I found that the windows were dispersed to an unknown party at the time that the church was demolished.

Because those windows were installed at the same time as the Good Shepherd window in 1918, I believe they may have been also made by Harry P. Horwood of Ogdensburg. I would love to know if the windows still exist and if so, I would love to come photograph them to try and make the history of the church complete. From looking at photos of the church, there may have been as many as eight figured windows on each side of the church and a small rose window over the entryway.

There was also a silver and brass bell from the steeple that I would love to see and again photography and catalog it for the church’s history.

If you have any information concerning these objects, call 265-9405.
