Letter to the Editor:
On Thursday, January 24, we held our first annual Basketball Tournament at PCS between PCS, NNCS and PHCS districts. This basketball tournament was to honor Joanne Bigwarfe and Joanne’s Gift of Love Scholarship Fund.
We want to thank the volunteers, the supporters, the community and especially GNP, Today’s Hair and Day Spa, Alpine Seeding, Chips Place, LTI and The Body Shop, Jose L. Lizardi MD, and Michael Maresca MD, The UPS Store, and Carey White Photography for your support and donations.
The events proceeds will help a NNCS and PCS student in his or her endeavors. Without you we would not be able to do this. We also, want to thank the Staff of PCS, NNCS, and PHCS, for all their love, compassion and remembrance of Joanne. She would be greatly appreciated and humbled.
Also, we would like to thank the Potsdam Booster Club for all their support. It’s an honor to say we all live in such communities.
Also, we would like to congratulate Judy Eagles for winning the 46” – RCA flat screen TV.
We thank you All Again for your support.
Stephanie Stark and Susan Barrett
