On June 9 & 10 the 27th annual Madrid Canoe Regatta was held at the Community Park. 133 racers participated to make it a successful weekend.
We would like to thank everyone who sponsored, worked and raced. The paddlers came from New York and other states as well as the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
We would also like to thank the members from the United Church of Madrid for preparing and serving a spaghetti dinner for the paddlers and families after the race and awards on Saturday.
