William Briggs was recently awarded the Joslin Outstanding Performer award from the New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc. (NYSID).
Briggs works on NYSID preferred source contracts as an employee in St. Lawrence NYSARC's confidential services program. He is one of 50 New Yorkers with disabilities being acknowledged for consistent, impressive performance.
St. Lawrence NYSARC also recognized several individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for several years of successful employment.
NYSARC recognized the following employees for service to different employers throughout the county:
• 10 years; Paul Caloren, Jodie Sabid, Brent Sullivan, Herbert Waugh, Sandra Whitford and Fred Wing.
• 15 years; William Adams and Debra Delisle.
• 20 or more years; Duane Breyette, Wilma Carpenter, Arnold Jackson and Roger Smith.
Susan Garvey received recognition for 35 years of service working at St. Joseph's Home in Ogdensburg.
