MASSENA -- Michael Rondeau was recently hired as accounting manager and Anthony Diagostino was promoted to assistant vice president of loan administration at SeaComm’s Massena headquarters.

In this position, Rondeau supervises the daily operations of the accounting department and prepares financial reports, including annual plan and operating budgets.

He also ensures complete, accurate, and timely completion of financial and accounting records for the credit union, according to a press release from SeaComm.

“We are very pleased to bring on board someone with Mike’s in-depth experience to lead our accounting team,” said Scott A. Wilson, president and chief executive officer.

Rondeau received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clarkson University and received his associate’s degree in computer information systems from North Country Community College.

He brings twenty-seven years of experience in the financial field to his position at the credit union, the release said.

Diagostino was promoted from his previous position as risk manager to assistant vice president of loan administration in April.

He directly supervises risk management, collections/lending operations and member business lending and is responsible for ensuring departmental goals are met, the release said.

“We have an extremely committed talent pool at the Credit Union and absolutely value the opportunity of promoting internally,” said Wilson.

“This affords us the ability, as we continue to grow, to move experienced key managers into positions of higher management within the organization.”

Diagostino has been an employee of the credit union since his hire in April 2013.

SeaComm is a member owned financial cooperative based in Massena with over 42,000 members and assets exceeding $500 million, the release said.

The credit union has branches in Massena, Potsdam, Malone, Canton, and Ogdensburg, with plans for a Plattsburgh branch in fall 2016.

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in St. Lawrence, Franklin or Clinton Counties.
