Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Victim Advocate Kerry Jacobs has been recognized as the 2018 Outstanding Advocate for Child Victims Award from the Clinton County District Attorney’s Child Advocacy Center.
The award was presented at the “Hope Changes Everything” conference in Lake Placid recently that brought regional advocacy centers together to prevent child abuse, exploitation and trafficking.
Jacobs' work to protect vulnerable members of the Akwesasne community is shared with the Three Sisters Program as a Sexual Assault Advocate and the Victim Advocate for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Division of Community and Family Services (CFS).
