Potsdam resident and Clarkson University film student Nathaniel Brown recently had his film "The Man with the Metal Hand” selected to show in two April film festivals.
Brown’s film was chosen for screening at the Direct Short Online Film Festival and the Barcelona Planet Film Festival.
“Brown’s film blends film noir and science fiction in a story about a hardened detective on the dark streets of a distant moon colony as he encounters a mysterious man with a mechanical hand,” according to Clarkson’s press release.
Each film was created in the Clarkson COMM 427 Digital Video Production II course, taught by Professor Stephen Farina.
”The festivals are highly competitive and receive entries from around the world. I’m really looking forward to teaching the course again next year to see what future students can create,” said Farina.
