PAUL SMITHS -- Several North Country students were named to the dean's list at Paul Smith's College during the fall 2012 semester. Each earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher. The following students made the list:
• Jessica Eakins, Parishville. Eakins majors in baking and pastry arts. Eakins was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
• Austie Gerrish, Potsdam. Gerrish majors in culinary arts. Gerrish was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
• Anastasia Hull, Madrid. Hull majors in baking and pastry arts. Hull was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
• Michaela Toomey, Potsdam. Toomey majors in surveying technology. Toomey was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
• Annick Hurd, Waddington. Hurd majors in baking and pastry arts.
• Nicholas McCarthy, Potsdam. McCarthy majors in hotel, resort and tourism management.
• Eric Paul, Potsdam. Paul majors in natural resources management and policy.
• Ann Ramsay, Potsdam. Ramsay majors in environmental studies.
