Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority hires Ogdensburg resident as its newly created business developer

OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority recently hired John R. Morrison, Ogdensburg as its newly created business developer post.

Morrison is a long-time Ogdensburg resident and has worked at various North Country businesses. He most-recently was employed as the Seaway Industries for St. Lawrence NYSARC director. He has also been employed as an administrator for United Helpers Cedars Nursing Home and was formerly the executive director of the St. Lawrence County Solid Waste Disposal Authority, the OBPA said.

"I am very excited to join the outstanding team at the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority,” Morrison said. “I look forward to the challenges of furthering our business development mission."

Morrison bachelor's degree in business administration from LeMoyne College.

He will work director of industrial and commercial development John Rishe.
