Margaret Jacobs, born and raised in northern New York, has been honored with a $3,000 in unrestricted grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts 2018 Rebecca Blunk Fund for the creation of new work and for professional development, recognizing excellence and accomplishment in her work.
Jacobs (margaretjacobs.com), a jewelry maker and sculptor residing in Enfield, N.H., and enrolled member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., where she graduated with High Honors for her thesis work and received the prestigious Perspectives on Design Award.
