MASSENA – Massena Memorial Hospital cardiologist Aderonke Adeniyi M.D. has received heart failure and transplant board certification.
Senior Director of Professional and Practice Management/Ancillary Services and Safety Mark Brouillette praised Adeniyi on receiving another board certification in cardiac care.
Adeniyi is an advocate for healthy eating and for people to increase their physical activity to improve their overall health.
Adeniyi earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C. in 2009. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio before entering a three-year cardiology fellowship program at Tulane University in New Orleans, La.
Adeniyi spent a year in a heart failure, cardiac transplant and medical circulatory support and pulmonary hypertension fellowship program at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
