Samuel Kingston, a senior from Madrid-Waddington High School, is the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce’s October BOCES Student of the Month.
Samuel is a student in the BOCES natural resource management program taught by Nick Carbone. Samuel wants to attend Alfred State next fall to major in electrical engineering.
“Sam is an excellent student in the classroom and the field,” said Carbone. “He possesses the rare combination of intelligence and common sense. The fact that he has worked on a farm for years is apparent when it comes to tackling a task and taking the initiative.”
Sam received a certificate from BOCES, a Chamber Dollars check sponsored by Jones Insurance Agency and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
