LISBON -- Sierra Knight from Lisbon was just named one of four nationwide students to be awarded a $2,500 scholarship to further her organic agriculture education.
Knight won a 2012 Horizon Organic Producer Education (HOPE) program scholarship, which is awarded annually to deserving students who are children or grandchildren of Horizon Organic’s more than 600 family farmers.
Horizon is the first national organic dairy brand to offer a scholarship program designed to build the next generation of organic leaders.
