POTSDAM -- At their spring luncheon, SOAR members and friends came together to acknowledge the group’s 2018 SuperSOARER awardee, Stephen Hopkins, a long time member of the organization.
This award is given annually to a SOAR member who has contributed significantly to SOAR during its nearly 18 years of existence.
Hopkins has served in many roles as a member of SOAR, including a two-year stint as board chair, where he set up procedures for the many committees delineated in the group’s bylaws.
Steve remains an important and active member of SOAR.
According to Awards Committee Chair, Betty Graham, Steve Hopkins continues to “work quietly to make SOAR better.”
