Several area residents have been named to the President's List for the spring semester at SUNY Oswego. Showing academic achievement, with their major in parentheses, are:
• Nick Sterling of County Route 9, Gouverneur, a senior (marketing).
• Lacey Brown of Churchill Street, Hermon, a junior (zoology).
• Stevie Burley of Nightengale Avenue, Massena, a senior (communication).
• Ashley Devine of Temple Street, Massena, a junior (psychology).
• Vanessa Rappleyea of P.O. Box 5054, Massena, a senior (global and international studies).
The President's and Deans' lists represent the academic top 28.8 percent of the Oswego student body. Students who achieve grade averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale are named to the President's List, the top 7.3 percent of Oswego students.
