A selection committee of nine chose each honoree from 80 nominees based on their professional achievements, community service, and leadership qualities.
Draper has been at Clarkson for 12 years. She started in admissions, then moved over to the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship as associate director, then served as director. As the managing director of Clarkson Ignite, she promotes an innovation ecosystem that connects students to faculty, staff, alumni and community leaders to gain hands-on creative experience.
Draper sits on a number of boards in the North Country, including as director at large for the USASBE (United States Association for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurship).
Draper received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Clarkson.
