POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence Health System has announced the names of three Canton-Potsdam Hospital Employees of the 4th Quarter, Sandra Goliber, RN, Stacy Klock, Patient Representative, and Todd Stone, Cardiology Technician. All were nominated by their peers to receive this honor.
Todd Stone, cardiology technician, was hired in July 2001 as a dual specialty technician in cardiology. In 2010, he worked in respiratory therapy stress testing for five years before returning to cardiology as a dual specialty technician in 2015.
“A real team player, Todd is a good-hearted high performer that is always there to lend a hand to our patients and fellow staff,” said Cardiology Supervisor Brad Ryan. “Always on the move, always in the know, Todd adds a strong pulse to Canton Potsdam Hospital.”
Todd’s co-workers and patients added, “Todd’s compassion and caring for each patient is evident. He is understanding and goes the extra mile to help a patient in whatever way he can.”
Sandra Goliber, RN, began work at Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Sleep Lab in July 2008, and is currently in the same department. Her colleagues and patients said, “Sandy is amazing; considerate and compassionate, and puts patients at ease.”
“Sandy is a valued member of the Sleep Disorders Center’s staff. She is always pleasant and delivers compassionate patient care. Her flexibility and interest in expanding her knowledge is greatly appreciated,” said Respiratory and Sleep Services Director Catherine Pomerleau.
Stacy Klock began work at Canton-Potsdam Hospital in July 2010 as an admissions/discharge clerk, and in 2016, became a patient representative. Her peers and patients had this to say about her, “Always, polite, smiling, and accommodating. Stacy is appreciated by her patients for her caring attitude and thoughtfulness.”
Physician Practice Manager, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pain Management, Physiatry, and Eye Care Albert Hanson, said, “Stacy has been a great addition to our Orthopedic Team since joining us approximately two years ago. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her previous experience with our organization, and is someone who our patients love to see as they walk into our building for their orthopedic needs. She’s very kind and understanding of our patient population.”
Each was given a dish garden, chamber gift certificates, CPH gift shop gift certificates, a memento pin, and a designated parking space for the next three months.
