POTSDAM -- Students of the block for the third block of the school year were recently selected at A. A. Kingston Middle School.
Students of the block included Jackson Canedy (art), Lauryn Bigwarfe (chorus), Cady Dale-Brewer (fifth grade), Pandora Gagliano (sixth grade), David Pinegar (fifth grade), Trevor Bates (sixth grade), Hadeel Obeid (eigth grade), Laura Dudek (eigth grade), Katherine Betrus (orchestra), Katie Theobald (seventh grade), Oliver Malit (seventh grade), and Kennedy Wilson (physical education).
Mark Bennett, AAK middle school principal, presented the awards.
Students were selected on the basis of scholastic achievement, citizenship, and extra curricular activities, according to a press release from the school.
“Outstanding effort and attitude are highly valued as well,” the release said.
